Things to do in London?

im 18 and in february half term, me and all my family are going to london for the weekend to celebrate my grandmas birthday. trouble is, we do it every year and its just so boring now. we go to the same hotel, with the same people etc, and me and my 13 year old sister are really tired of it now. so, we were thinking, has anyone got any ideas for fun, interesting things to do in london? we’ve been to the science museum, history museum, Madame Tussuads, the crown jewels, tower bridge, the london eye, loads of parks, harrods, everywhere really. so we were wondering… does anyone know of any events or places we can go to from the 18th to the 20th feb 2010? all ideas are helpful :-) thanks ever so much xx

How about you indulge in the diverse cultural side of London, maybe go for a guided tour at the central mosque in regents park http://www.cityultima.com/BusinessPage:Islamic_Cultural_Centre

or go to a free lecture http://talks.forlondoners.com/

or maybe go for a chinese in china town, or an indian in brick lane http://www.cityultima.com/Brick_Lane or free food in one of the langas (Kitchens) in one of London’s many Gurdwaras. or take a walk down Southall broadway and explore the vibrant Indian shops

how about exploring Portobello Road Market. Or going on one of those fabulous walking tours http://www.walksoflondon.co.uk/ ,they are pretty awesome and very cheap.

or you can sit in on a court case at the High Court next to Chancery Lane

or maybe visit the London library in Kings Cross – fascinating place and huge

Just a few ideas, but if you are interested in something you will find a way to indulge your interest in London, even if for a few days
