Paddington Hotel

Paddington, Bayswater or South Kensington TO GET AN HOTEL?

HELLO! I really don’t know how zone to choose! We ( 2 ) need a central, cheap ( max £80/d/room ) and clean hotel in London. Looking for it on internet we found 3 hotel in each of these zones.
Are they safe zones? What about the nightlife? and the links with the centre ( also in the night ) ?
Which I have to choose?

All are located near to the centre. South kensington is your best bet for safety and has museums and other attractions. Paddington and bayswater are slightly rougher but still are very central. London is a reletively safe city unless you go looking for trouble and have your wits about you. Also you can get a cab if you are feeling unsafe.
