Nights at London?

Hi,
I’m going to be in London on October and i’d like to go out at nights to bars and stuff, but the Soho area (which is, as i’ve heard, worthy a visit at nights, right?!) is a bus drive from my hotel, and i have no idea how to get back there..
I mean, until what hour at night do buses work? or the underground?
And anyway, until what hour is it normal to go out at nights in London?
Is it true that all bars and clubs are closed at 11 ?

Many but not all pubs and bars close at 11.

Clubs stay open till dawn on some nights!

Buses run all night but with reduced frequency. Night buses are usually prefixed with an ‘N’.

The Underground closes down between midnight and 1-am depending on the route. Soho is served by Piccadilly and Leicester Square underground stations.

If you need a taxi, use a Black Cab or call a licenced Private Hire company. These are more expensive but properly licenced and honest and know their way around.

Don’t accept a lift from somebody touting a taxi/minicab service on the street. At best they won’t be insured; you could even be robbed or worse.
