Where can I stay in London for 2 months?

I was living with a friend for a month, but now I have to leave because they’re leaving as well so I need to find a place within the next week to stay for at least 2 months. The problem is short term places are very expensive. I don’t mind paying a deposit, but most people don’t want to host someone for just 2 months time.

I would try www.gumtree.com and www.crashpadder.co.uk, if you haven’t done so already. I have never used spareroom.co.uk but I would probably give that a look as well if I were in your situation.
